Aloha everyone. My name is Mahina and I was born with various handicaps which include being hearing impaired, speech impaired, inability to walk, heart, kidney and lung abnormalities, all stemming from an inverted #6 chromosome. Since the day I was born in 2005, I've started to overcome my disabilities day by day to the amazement of my physicians, family and friends. Although I have a long way to go, it's the little steps that make each big step. With help from my loving parents, we will start to document my daily lifestyle, good, along with the bad.

HELPING MOMMY

Last night I helped mommy make a valentine cake for daddy. It was so fun and I even ate a little of the chocolate whip. Mmmmmmmm! Yummy!

PLAYHOUSE

Me and my sister were given a really cute playhouse from one of daddy's friends who was moving back to Australia. Today I went inside for the first time to check it out and make plans for remodeling. This is gonna be so much fun!

HANGING OUT

Had a quick ride on the hammock this morning with my little sister and daddy. On the sunny days, our back yard is really warm. Even in the middle of winter.
